Privacy Policy.
We built EpochJSON so your data stays on your device. This policy explains what we do—and do not—collect.
Last updated: June 2026
Summary
Epoch to JSON (epochjson.com) provides browser-based timestamp conversion tools. When you use our json epoch converter, unix timestamp converter, or timezone calculator, the content you paste is processed locally in your web browser. We do not receive, store, or analyze your JSON, logs, or timestamp values on our servers.
Information we do not collect from tool usage
- JSON payloads or API responses you paste into converters
- Unix timestamps, dates, or timezone selections used for conversion
- Conversion outputs or annotated results
Information stored on your device
We may store your theme preference (light, dark, or system) in localStorage under the key
epochjson-theme. This stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Hosting and logs
Our website is served as static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Your hosting provider or CDN may log standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL) when you load pages. We do not combine those logs with tool input data because tool input never reaches our origin during conversion.
Cookies
We do not set advertising or analytics cookies for core tool functionality. Third-party fonts loaded from Google Fonts may be subject to Google’s policies when enabled in your browser.
Children’s privacy
Our services are intended for developers and general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect revisions. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
